The Hotel is perfectly situated. You will arrive either by train or by bus at the Piazzale Roma - and the hotel is not even a 5 minute walk from there. Keep that in mind when booking other hotels that might be more difficult to reach by foot as water taxis are extremely expensive in Venice. Breakfast was very good - the hotel is very clean and if you keep in mind that Venice is a few thousand years old (and so are most buildings) then this building is relatively modern. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access from here to the rest of Venice.

Ca' San Rocco was a lovely small hotel in a quiet area of Venice but only a short walk to the Rialto Bridge or the train station. The staff were helpful and spoke good English. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Breakfast was good, great to sit outside on the terrace. There is also a small garden to relax in the evening. I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would recommend to family and friends.

Thank you all for the very nice stay on vacation. Clean hotel, facilities are excellent, and the location is perfect within walking distance of St Mark's square. The staff is amicable, amazingly kind. Overall good food, plus there is Cantina Arnaldi close by.

Everyone was wonderful at the Hotel. The location was amazing, the rooms were beautifully presented with lovely details of an excellent size. The dectoration and furniture were beautiful and functional. The bathroom was first class and a good size. The breakfast was wonderful. The location in a quiet area of Venice was wonderful but within easy walk of the Pont Rialto and San Marco's. We would stay here again in a flash!

Perfect location in the quiet place with a private garden, close to the main attractions of the city, station and bus terminal. The room was spotless for the whole stay, spacious and furnished stylishly. The bed is comfortable with high quality linen. The bathroom is large and fully equipped with all necessary items. The continental breakfast served on the terrace was enough to start the day of sightseeing. We'd like to come back!
You can hear every step of the neighbours upstairs. Is it because of the neighbours' weight or due to the building being rather old? In any case it's not the owner's fault!

It was quiet clean and secure. We liked the breakfast.
We did not like carrying our suitcases up 2 flights of stairs with no elevator and the bed was not that comfortable for the price that they charged for the room. The front office personnel were not that friendly. There was not enough space for toiletries in the bathroom. T

The breakfast here was excellent, especially the custom-made cappuccino, and the proximity to a stunning baroque church was perfect.

Loved the location, price was reasonable And rooms were lovely.
I think we were a bit unlucky cause was not able to get Internet access! Also took while to find the place so perhaps better instructions may help. Also the staff were not always the friendliest and often preoccupied- that was another negative. Also the breakfast was pretty basic- would suggest improving the range of options if able!

Ca’ San Rocco should be listed in all serious hotel reviews. My wife and I traveled substantially in Europe, but the quality of service and attention we got in the fortnight we spent in Ca’ San Rocco is just excellent. The personnel and the owners Irene and Valentina went out of their way to make our stay agreeable. Our room was spacious, impeccable, quite, beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was good, generous and lots of different plates. All was there to make our stay the most agreeable. In our next trip to this wonderful city we will go back to Irene and Valentina in Ca’ San Rocco.
